New Moon Eclipse in Sagittarius
Dec 02, 2021As I am writing this to you, we are in the dark phase of the moon...a time to go within, to reflect, to rest & to release before the new lunar cycle begins. This is always a time to be soft & to slow down, but especially now.
We have a new moon total solar eclipse happening Saturday at 1:42am CST at 12 degrees Sagittarius.
The moon will go completely dark, ending this 2 year Gemini-Sagittarius eclipse cycle of reevaluating our beliefs, the way we think, what we value & how we communicate it.
What has changed for you?
What have you let go of in terms of your belief systems, what conversations you have, what you listen to & how you view yourself & the world?
How has the shift in your beliefs changed the way you live & experience life?
I know I personally have experienced HUGE shifts in the last 2 years, especially in my health & wellness.
- I’ve changed my approach to exercise. I no longer punish myself to look a certain way or workout in a way that causes a ton of inflammation. Instead I have gotten to know my body & I listen to her guidance. I move for the health of my energy. I move to help her detox. I move in ways that help me feel good & powerful. I move to connect with my body. I previously treated her more like a machine…expecting her to go & do what I said to achieve the end result. No more! She is treated with respect, compassion & honor for the magic of who she is.
- I’ve improved the quality of the water I drink. I realized the lies being sold about water. I learned that most bottled waters are no safer than tap water…filled with fluoride, chlorine & toxic chemicals from the plastic disrupting my hormonal cycles. The sink filters are no better. I made the switch to alkaline or spring water only & my body is SO grateful!
- I buy local, organic, non gmo foods. This has become a deep value for me. I have decided to shift my power to those who deserve it & away from large chains & corporations that profit from oppression, raping the earth & having low integrity in their products. Instead, I choose to place the power of my money into the hands of those who are growing with integrity, honoring the life of the food & the life source of Mother Earth. What does this look like practically? No more Walmart, Whole Foods or Amazon. I choose to shop with local farmers, locally owned businesses & women owned businesses as much as possible.
- I ask A LOT of questions. I have learned to use my voice for my health by speaking up & asking more questions at restaurants, farmers markets & grocery stores. I ask things like…”What type of water do you serve?” “Do you use non-gmo foods?” “Do you have that without preservatives or additives?” “How do you grow your produce?” “What do your animals eat?” Asking questions about the things I put into my body is my right! And something that should be practiced regularly. I no longer mindlessly feed or care for myself.
I could honestly go on & on about the changes of the last 2 years because they have been MASSIVE, but we have the new to focus on…

Who you are & the energy you choose to embody with this new moon will be important for the intentions you set. Here are a few wellness tips to empower your life & align your energy over the next couple days….
- Complete a 24 hour juice detox. If that doesn’t feel doable, avoid processed & starchy foods. Commit to fresh, easily digested foods only.
- Do pelvic floor release work. Show this crucial area some love & release any stored energy. Click here for a short pelvic floor release yoga practice.
- Detox your liver. You can support your liver by drinking alkaline water, eating cruciferous veggies, drinking green tea, including turmeric in your juices, & adding glutamine to your shakes/smoothies. Taking vitamins E, C & B as well as magnesium will also aid your liver in removing toxins from the body.
- Colon hydrotherapy. This is a great time to use the gentle power of water to flush toxins from your colon. Did you know you could have 10lbs of toxins sitting in your colon at any given time?? You can drastically improve your energy by literally releasing past waste!
- Use adaptogens. With the massive shifts we have all been experiencing, we need time to allow our nervous systems to adjust. Nervous system regulation is key right now! - Journal…A LOT. Eclipses open portals of change. And with Neptune going direct in it’s home sign of Pisces this week as well, the floodgates have opened & you are most likely understanding things differently all of a sudden. WRITE IT DOWN. The energy needs to flow out of you in some form. Putting it down in writing will help you to reflect & allow gratitude to grow for the new.
- Explore & connect with nature. Use the exciting energy of this new moon in Sagittarius to go on a day adventure to connect with the beauty of Mother Earth!
- Slow down & integrate. One of the most neglected parts of change is integration, especially in our current society. We expect ourselves to operate like machines, but we aren’t. We are divine spirits living in human bodies that need time to adjust & absorb change. So move slowly, rest, and include adaptogens. Do things to intentionally integrate the new energy you are living in. This can look like dancing, singing, doing yoga, sound bath meditation, hypnotherapy, painting, drawing, or spending time in nature.
